The objective of the entrepreneurship program is to boost attraction and retention of talent in Galicia, so that sector professionals find the Autonomous Community to be an attractive place to develop their professional careers.
The Business Factory Aero
The Business Factory Aero (BFAero), which is a part of The Civil UAVs Initiative, is aimed at promoting the creation and acceleration of innovative companies in Galicia that can complete the aerospace sector value chain.
The BFAero has been created as an open initiative. Currently participating as promoters are Indra and Babcock; the Galician Automotive Technology Centre (CTAG) and different SMEs grouped in the representation of the Galician Aeronautical Consortium.
The BFAero is managed by the CEI Iniciativas Foundation of Lugo.
Thematic areas: As an accelerator in the Galician aeronautical and the unmanned vehicles sector, the Business Factory Aero is open to innovative, viable and scalable entrepreneurship projects that can handle one or several themes: design and production, airworthiness and navigability, automation, data and information, manufacturing, payloads and systems, training means, flight termination, security and enabling technologies.
Market placement. Project solutions can quickly be placed in the market via access to the aerospace and unmanned vehicles value chain.
Full cycle support. Incubation (2 years) and acceleration (1 year) phases, covering all evolutionary stages of an entrepreneurship project.
International scope. Internationalisation of the projects involved and attraction of talent from other countries.

Training and mentoring. Plans adapted to the needs of each project, flight hours and licenses for UAV pilots and ongoing support from sector tutors.
Financing. Up to € 100,000 non-refundable in incubation and up to € 50,000 in acceleration, participatory credits and agreements with third parties.

Professional 4.0 Program

Description: Employment, mentoring and training guarantees for new university graduates and those with Vocational Training into companies or other support entities, to carry out works that improve the capacities of the business fabric. Companies with two or more employees and intermediate business organisations from Galicia can benefit from this order. 75 % of the worker’s gross remuneration is subsidised during the first year, with a maximum amount per person hired, calculated according to a formula set out in the call.
Galicia Emprende (Entrepreneurial Galicia)

Description: Aid of 20% and 30% towards eligible costs for new entrepreneurship projects created by SMEs, as well as investment projects for the extension of ongoing projects of SMEs that have been operational for less than 42 months at the time of the application (with requirements). The minimum eligible budget is € 25,000 and the maximum is € 500,000.

Description: The loansare at a reduced interest rate to support SMEs promoted by entrepreneurs investing in starting-up the business in Galicia. The project should be based on a business plan and should consist of the creation of a new establishment or the improvement of the competitiveness of an existing one. The project must have a financing cost equal to or greater than € 100.000. The minimum loan amount shall be € 50,000 and the maximum amount € 200,000, and cannot exceed 50 % of the project’s financing cost.
